1941 Map of Amherst, Mass.

So here's my first BeDe card for the first blog dedicated to BeDeCards. I made this in 2005. "FAC" means Fine Arts Center. What was Massachusetts State College in 1941 was renamed as the University of Massachusetts around 1950. Lincoln Avenue used to proceed right through the campus.

Hi Jess! Wow, this BeDe card art is new to me! Your first example is cool. What are the spacing of the 2 holes? And is there a holder you keep them in? Are they traded, sold and collected like ATC's? Nice to meet you! I've got some ideas now for our May basket swap!

Dear Heidi,
The holes are 80mm apart - that's the nearly world-wide standard for 2-ring binders. There are very few small (4x6) binders available. We are hoping that people will buy the binder ring hardware and begin to make and sell BeDe card binders. Ring-alliance.com and 3ringmetals.com sell the 80mm 2-ring binders at wholesale quantities. // Are the BeDe cards traded? On a small scale, yes, but that will increase as the formast becomes better known. Personally, I like mailing them as mail art postcards.
